It has been revealed that Watford manager, Aidy Boothroyd is running the rule over Czech forward, David Strihavka.

The 23-year-old has joined the Vicarage Road club on a short trial from Banik Ostrava and is the latest star to be linked with the Golden Boys as Boothroyd tries to strengthen his relegation threatened side during the January transfer window.

Confirming the agreement Banik Ostrava board chairman, Jakub Kahoun said,

"We have accepted their request to take David on a short trial,

Nevertheless, it is not clear what happens in the future. We'll see what he returns with.

So far the only communication between us and Watford has been very brief. Actually, we have just exchanged one email."
