"Derby were the better side in the first half and scored a good goal by virtue of their movement off the ball," the Watford boss said after the 2-1 victory.
"But we made some tactical changes at half-time and we were much more aggressive in the second half without being angry about it.
"Once we got it back to 1-1, I felt there would be more goals for us."
