The Premier League registered another outstanding round of fixtures over the course of the weekend, with Tottenham edging Manchester City in a five-goal thriller while Manchester United and Leeds shared six goals between them.
There were important wins for Arsenal and Burnley, but Chelsea struggled for their three points and things are looking increasingly bleak for Everton.
Here's a run through of each cub's best player this weekend.
Arsenal - Emile Smith Rowe (9/10) vs Brentford
What we said: "A wonderful piece of individual skill to work the space for his goal, before finishing with conviction."
Aston Villa - Emiliano Buendia (7/10) vs Watford
What we said: "Really lively and very eager to drop into space and make things happen and looked most likely to do so for the hosts, registering five key passes throughout."
Brentford - Bryan Mbeumo (7/10) vs Arsenal
What we said: "Isolated as Brentford were pinned back inside their own half, although he held the ball in well when he could."
Brighton - Solly March (6/10) vs Burnley
What we said: "Came off the bench and was immediately Brighton's most influential player."
Burnley - Wout Weghorst (9/10) vs Brighton
What we said: "Sean Dyche has found his perfect striker - a 6ft6 target man who is capable of dropping deep and causing havoc just with his mere presence."
Chelsea - Hakim Ziyech (8/10) vs Crystal Palace
What we said: "Dazzling wing play and deliveries in the first period. Volleyed in the crucial winner with wonderful technique."
Crystal Palace - Michael Olise (7/10) vs Chelsea
What we said: "Looked in a confident mood early on, going close with a bobbling low strike. His set-piece deliveries posed a threat, too. Palace's main creative outlet throughout. Booked."
Everton - Jordan Pickford (8/10) - vs Southampton
What we said: "Continually made saves for 90 minutes. Without him, this would have been really embarrassing for Everton."
Leeds - Daniel James (7/10) vs Manchester United
What we said: "The threat of his pace was there fleetingly in the first half but he didn't see much of the ball. Came alive in the second period and did excellently to fire in the ball which Raphinha converted."
Leicester - Youri Tielemans (7/10) - vs Wolves
What we said: "A bit slow sensing the danger for Ruben Neves' goal but made up for it with a sublime goal-creating pass. Always involved but his finishing was poor."
Liverpool - Mohamed Salah (8/10) vs Norwich
What we said: "Tormenting his opposite full-back with outrageous close control conducted at lightning speed. Has now scored 150 goals for Liverpool."
Manchester City - Joao Cancelo (8/10) vs Tottenham
What we said: "Essentially played as a winger and tormented Tottenham's backline."
Manchester United - Jadon Sancho (8/10) vs Leeds
What we said: "Delightful clip into the box put Bruno Fernandes' goal on the plate for the Portugal international. Not great defending alongside Aaron Wan-Bissaka for Raphinha's strike but made amends with a perfect ball for Fred to smash in. Perhaps his best game so far for United."
Newcastle - Joe Willock (8/10) vs West Ham
What we said: "Pushed forward whenever he could and relentlessly pressed West Ham's backline. In the right place at the time to capitalise on Rice's mistake but still had to show the composure to bury the chance."
Norwich - Milot Rashica (7/10) vs Liverpool
What we said: "Fortunate with his goal but caused Joe Gomez a number of problems when sprinting towards the sporadically used defender."
Southampton - Stuart Armstrong (8/10) vs Everton
What we said: "Worked hard with and without the ball and got his reward with a well-taken breakthrough goal."
Tottenham - Harry Kane (10/10) vs Manchester City
What we said: "The perfect performance from a player Manchester City probably should have pursued harder last summer."
Watford - Emmanuel Dennis (8/10) vs Aston Villa
What we said: "A brilliant save from Emiliano Martinez denied him a goal in the early stages but the Argentine could do nothing about his bullet header for the winner."
West Ham - Craig Dawson (7/10) vs Newcastle
What we said: "Bulleted home an unstoppable header to give West Ham the lead. Made some good interceptions and vital blocks."
Wolves - Daniel Podence (7/10) vs Leicester
What we said: "His first touch was ridiculously good at times and he got in behind Caglar Soyuncu well. Finished so, so well in the second half."
