Henderson looking forward to Reading return

Having just completed a three match ban picked up for an indiscretion at Leeds United on Valentine’s night, combative front man, Darius Henderson is expected to return to the Golden Boys line-up on Saturday.

If he does play, the ex-Gillingham man will be locking horns with another of his former clubs, and the 24-year-old certainly has plenty of respect for current Royals manager, Steve Coppell,

“Steve Coppell was very honest with me when he spoke to me before I left

“He said to me that I needed to play regularly and that’s not something he could promise me if I stayed at Reading

That said, the striker rated at 9-4 with the bookmakers to score at any time throughout the match, reveals that he is excited by the prospect of facing the Champions elect at their Madejski Stadium,

“I’m looking forward to every match here – and this weekend at Reading can’t come soon enough.

“My friends and family that know me well know just how important it is for me to go back to Reading and put in a big performance”
