Albert Jarrett has been called up to play for Sierra Leone in their African Nations Cup qualifier against Benin on Sunday.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Golden Boys after being released by Brighton & Hove Albion, was born in the West African Country before being raised in England.

Jarrett made his Watford debut as a playing substitute in the narrow loss to Bolton Wanderers in early September, and followed that appearance by making a first full start in the Carling Cup victory over Accrington Stanley.

Sierra Leone drew their opening qualifier for the 2008 finals at home to Mali last month.
