King set for Hull City return

Watford Football Club has revealed that Marlon King is to miss two matches as a result of his sending off for foul and abusive language in Good Friday's draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It was initially thought the indiscretion may bring about a three match ban, but the 21 goal striker should now be available for the last game of the regular season, at home to Hull City on Sunday 30 April 2006.

There is still a possibility that Golden Boys manager, Aidy Boothroyd will appeal against the red card decision made by referee Mr. Wright after consultation with his assistant Mr E.Tarry, although he cautiously commented,

"I will have to study the incident on video before deciding whether to appeal.

"If we do appeal and lose then Marlon could get a longer ban. A rest might actually do him good before the play-offs."
