Lewington delighted

"We worked ever so hard and there were some brilliant performances out there tonight from us," he said.

"We are fourth now and we have surprised a few people, although we always knew we had the talent. The secret now is to stay up there."

But, while praising his own side, Lewington said the Stoke fans were harsh to give their side the stick at the final whistle.

"Stoke played some good stuff tonight as well.

"I don't know why they got booed at the end," he said.
