Marlon Says...

Watford's talisman striker, Marlon King has spoken of his admiration for dynamic manager, Aidy Boothroyd.

After failing to appear at the Valley for the crucial bottom of the table Premiership clash with Charlton Athletic last month, terrace talk ranged from a possible training ground bust up with the Bradford born boss to an unsavoury night club incident.

However, a fortnight after Boothroyd revealed that his star striker had had an operation that would sideline him for the rest of the season the Jamaican International, speaking exclusively to the Watford Observer, has come out in full support of his manager.

"People saying we have had a fall out is so far from the truth it's unbelievable. He has done wonders for me and I hope to repay him next season."

Prior to his injury, King had been an integral part of Watford's set-up this season, leading the line superbly as well as netting two of the side's 7 Premiership goals, to add to the 22 he bagged during the Golden Boys ultimately successful promotion campaign last term.
