Portsmouth v Watford

Last updated : 18 November 2006 By Gary Holmes

Watford travel to Portsmouth with only long term injury victims, Marlon King (Knee) and Clarke Carlisle (thigh) missing, as they attempt to claim their first away victory of the campaign.

Experienced pair Chris Powell and Malkay Mackay are pushing for recalls, while Tamas Priskin, who netted for the Hungarian national side in their friendly with Canada in midweek is also in contention.

Portsmouth, aiming for a first win in three have a number of concerns going into their second home fixture in seven days, and are almost certain to be without Zimbabwean, Benjani Mwaruwari and midfielder Gary O'Neil, with the latter likely to be replaced by unsettled David Thompson.

Andy Cole, who rescued a point for Pompey in their draw with Fulham last weekend, is also struggling with a groin strain meaning Lomana LuaLua will probably partner Kanu up front.
