Leicester have hit their stride in recent weeks, scoring 14 times in their last five games in all competitions and winning their last two Premier League games in a row. Arsenal, meanwhile are unbeaten in the league since August and got back to winning ways last time out.

The Gunners could be without the influential Ben White because of a sickness bug that has affected a handful of players in the squad, while Leicester could have Wilfred Ndidi back.

Prediction: Leicester 1-1 Arsenal

Burnley vs Brentford

Brentford have been hit and miss so far in their first season as a Premier League club and face a tough test against an improving Burnley side at Turf Moor.

Burnley are yet to win a Premier League game this season but their only defeat in the last month came away at reigning champions Manchester City. A clean sheet might be an issue but they've scored twice against both Leicester and Southampton in recent matches.

Prediction: Burnley 2-1 Brentford

Liverpool vs Brighton

Liverpool are looking for a third successive Premier League win, as well as seeking to make the most of the momentum from a 5-0 win over Manchester United last time out. With Mohamed Salah in his current form, no opponent is a match for him.

Brighton, meanwhile, have lost momentum recently. They started extremely well, winning four of their opening five games. But the Seagulls haven't won since 19 September and were heavily beaten by Manchester City in their last game.

Prediction: Liverpool 3-1 Brighton

Man City vs Crystal Palace

Manchester City are comfortable favourites to win here. Pep Guardiola's appear to have overcome some early season blips and have scored eight goals in their last three Premier League games alone, including four against Brighton last time out.

Crystal Palace were wasteful against Newcastle a week ago and should have won convincingly. They won't get those same opportunities in this one and it could be a long day for manager Patrick Vieira against one of his former clubs.

Prediction: Man City 3-0 Crystal Palace

Newcastle vs Chelsea

Newcastle are still yet to win since the PIF takeover was completed, which is hardly surprising considering the players and the staff - apart from Steve Bruce - haven't changed. They were also lucky last time out against Crystal Palace, snatching a draw against the run of play.

Chelsea come into the weekend top of the Premier League but their depth will be tested here. Mateo Kovacic has joined Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner on the sidelines until November, although there is hope N'Golo Kante, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta can play.

Prediction: Newcastle 0-2 Chelsea

Watford vs Southampton

Watford shocked the Premier League with a stunning 5-2 demolition away at Everton in their last game. That came just a week after a dismal performance at home against Liverpool and it may be that the Hornets are better suited to life on the road as a counter attacking side.

Watford were so poor at Vicarage Road against Liverpool that it will offer Southampton hope of getting a positive result. The Saints haven't been easy to beat so far, yet have also rarely managed to turn draws into wins.

Prediction: Watford 1-2 Southampton

Tottenham vs Man Utd

Neither of these team are in good form heading into Saturday evening's clash in north London and both managers are under a degree of pressure as a result.

Manchester United are reeling from a 5-0 defeat to Liverpool last weekend and have only taken one point from their last four Premier League matches. Spurs, meanwhile, lost a London derby against West Ham last time out and slumped to an embarrassing Conference League defeat before that.

Prediction: Tottenham 1-1 Man Utd

Sunday 31 October

Norwich vs Leeds

When is kick off? Sunday 31 October, 14:00 (GMT)
Where is the match being played? Carrow Road

Referee? Anthony Taylor

Discovering just how tough the Premier League is second time around, Leeds have won just one of their nine games so far and only rescued a point against Wolves last week with a stoppage time penalty.

They will get chances against a win-less Norwich side that has taken only two points from 27 on offer and conceded 23 goals, but they have to take them.

Prediction: Norwich 0-1 Leeds

Aston Villa vs West Ham

For all the summer spending, Aston Villa are feeling the loss of Jack Grealish this season and have lost three games in a row. That doesn't bode well for the visit of a West Ham side who have won three of their last four in the league and are keeping pace in the top four.

David Moyes has given the Hammers the kind of solidity with game-changing X-factors that defined his peak years in charge of Everton and it is difficult to see them not continue that here.

Prediction: Aston Villa 1-2 West Ham

Monday 1 November

Wolves vs Everton

When is kick off? Monday 1 November, 20:00 (GMT)
Where is the match being played? Molineux
TV channel/live stream? Sky Sports (UK), fuboTV (US)

Referee? Martin Atkinson
VAR? Chris Kavanagh

Finishing off the 10th game-week of the new season, by which time already a quarter of the 2021/22 campaign will have passed, is Everton's trip to Wolves.

Rafa Benitez's Toffees were humiliated by Watford in their last game, falling apart in the closing stages in a 5-2 demolition. Wolves are unlikely to inflict a repeat of that as goals have generally been lacking for Bruno Lage's side so far this season.

Prediction: Wolves 1-1 Everton
