Reserves Face Reading Tonight

Last updated : 24 January 2007 By Gary Holmes

Watford's Reserves will be looking gain a measure of revenge for an early season defeat when they entertain the Royals in their first fixture of 2007, weather permitting.

Back in September the Golden Boys had no answer to a rampant Reading side, and a late Tamas Priskin strike was scant consolation following a brace by regular first team player, Stephen Hunt and a goal from Shaun Long.

Reading currently lies in second place in the FA Premier Reserve League South, just one point behind leaders Tottenham Hotspur, whilst the Golden Boys are well positioned in fourth spot in the ten-team league, having accrued 14 points from their seven games played.
