Wolverhampton Wanderers picked up their first win of the season on Saturday afternoon, clinching a 2-0 victory over Watford at Vicarage Road.
The first half was a fairly drab affair, although Wolves enjoyed the majority of possession and the better chances. Ruben Neves had a couple of cracks at goal, and Nelson Semedo burst through one on one with Daniel Bachmann, but the Hornets' shot-stopper stood firm to keep the scores level heading into the break.
Wolves continued to dominate the game for long periods of the second half, and some poor finishing from Raul Jimenez meant the Mexican flashed a header wide of goal instead of hitting the target. The visitors eventually got their breakthrough with 15 minutes to play, but the goal came through a comical and unlikely source.
Francisco Sierralta tried to turn a cross out for a corner with a header, but the Chilean defender inadvertently put his clearance into the top corner of Bachmann's goal. Watford couldn't respond against their resolute opponents, and Hwang Hee-chan killed the game late on to hand Wolves all three points.

1. Goalkeeper & Defenders
Daniel Bachmann (GK) - 5/10 - Held Trincao's central strike from range. Kept the scores level at the end of the half, denying Semedo expertly. Beaten twice in the second half.
Jeremy Ngakia (RB) - 6/10 - Got to feel sorry for the young lad, facing the steam train that is Traore. Put in a solid display, but the whole team crumbled in the second half.
William Troost-Ekong (CB) - 5/10 - Produced a vital tackle to stop Trincao hitting the target. Last-gasp. Couldn't stem the tide as Wolves kicked into gear.
Francisco Sierralta (CB) - 4/10 - Stretched to stick his head in the way of some floated crosses. The villain at the end, turning the ball into his own net to put his side behind. Game changing.
Danny Rose (LB) - 6/10 - Had his work cut out against the tricky Trincao, but used all his experience to keep the young Portuguese winger quiet. Nicked the ball out of the former Barça man's path when in on goal.
Peter Etebo (CM) - 6/10 - Booked inside a quarter of an hour for a stray elbow. Played on the edge. Pinched possession back excellently to set Dennis free in the first half.
Moussa Sissoko (CM) - 5/10 - Hustled and bustled into the box to fire a shot at goal, but Sa denied him. Lost the midfield battle in the second half as Watford surrendered territory.
Juraj Kucka (CM) - 5/10 - Combative in the middle, and held his own against the talented Moutinho and Neves for the first 45 minutes. Less success in the second half.
Ismaila Sarr (RW) - 6/10 - Produced some smart interplay to link up and set Sissoko free. Ghosted in behind but couldn't pick out King with his cross.
Josh King (ST) - 5/10 - Tussled with Marcal and enjoyed the battle. Should have gambled on Sarr's cross but allowed the ball to flash beyond him. Had little impact and was subbed.
Emmanuel Dennis (LW) - 6/10 - Flashed a shot just over the bar after breaking in behind the defence. Not a match-winner on this occasion.
Cucho Hernandez (LW) - 6/10
Ken Sema (CM) - 6/10

5. Goalkeeper & Defenders
Jose Sa (GK) - 7/10 - Forced into a smart save by Sissoko, covering his near post very well. Parried a shot back into the danger zone, but got away with it. Nothing to do in the second half.
Max Kilman (CB) - 7/10 - Decent display from the defender, keeping tabs on King and Dennis without too many complications. Growing in the Premier League.
Conor Coady (CB) - 8/10 - Got Wolves moving with a few diagonal balls towards the marauding wing-backs. A real leader and a decent man to have in the middle.
Romain Saiss (CB) - 7/10 - Tried to cover his wing-back, but has a few flaws in his game. Didn't have much to do in the second half as Wolves controlled the match.
6. Wing-Backs & Midfielders
Nelson Semedo (RWB) - 6/10 - Had the best chance of the first half, but saw his effort saved by Bachmann. Missed another chance in the second period. Not a natural finisher.
Ruben Neves (CM) - 7/10 - Took a couple of pop shots early on, but missed the target. Controlled the game in the second half, not allowing Watford a moment of peace on the ball.
Joao Moutinho (CM) - 6/10 - Wasted a good chance with a free-kick by blasting his effort well over the crossbar. Not the key player on the day.
Fernando Marcal (LWB) - 7/10 - Most of Watford's most dangerous moments came down Marcal's flank, as Sarr found joy all too often in behind the Brazilian. Whipped in the cross to force the own goal. Decisive.
Francisco Trincao (RW) - 6/10 - Drew some fouls with clever touches and changes of pace in the final third. Lacked any real end product, and was subbed in the second half.
Raul Jimenez (ST) - 5/10 - A quiet first period, starved of service in the middle but never stopped making angles for his forward partners to feed off. Headed a great chance wide midway through the second half - had to do better.
Adama Traore (LW) - 6/10 - Started well but faded throughout the first half, as Ngakia grew in confidence. Never really looked like making the difference this time round.
Hwang Hee-Chan (ST) - 7/10 - The match winner.
Daniel Podence (LW) - 6/10
