Watford predicted lineup vs Liverpool - Premier League

Watford face a tough assignment in their battle to beat the drop in the Premier League as they travel to face Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.

Roy Hodgson's side kept their hopes of survival alive with a 2-1 win at Southampton prior to the international break.

However, they remain three points adrift of Everton in 17th having also played two games more, with Watford also set to visit the Etihad Stadium later this month.

In the meantime, here's how the Hornets could line up.

Watford predicted lineup vs Liverpool - Premier League

1. Goalkeeper & defenders

Ben Foster (GK) - Has been culpable for a few goals in recent weeks, but his presence between the sticks is reassuring for the Watford backline.

Kiko Femenia (RB) - Leads Watford in a creative sense with five assists to his name in the Premier League this season.

Christian Kabasele (CB) - Came into the side for the win at Southampton and it will be difficult to dislodge him.

Samir (CB) - Has been hugely impressive since coming into the Watford side in recent months.

Hassane Kamara (LB) - Fun fact: the Ivorian has made more tackles, interceptions and ball recoveries than anyone else in the Premier League since he joined in January.

2. Midfielders

Moussa Sissoko (CM) - Mr. Dependable for Watford, providing a cutting thrust from midfield.

Imran Louza (CM) - Watford fans jeered when he was withdrawn in the defeat to Arsenal earlier this month.

Juraj Kucka (CM) - Seems perfectly suited for Hodgson's style of play considering his combative qualities.

3. Forwards

Cucho Hernandez (RW) - His goals in recent weeks have given Watford a puncher's chance of staying in the division.

Emmanuel Dennis (ST) - After a promising start to the campaign, the Nigerian has netted just once for the Hornets in 2022.

Joao Pedro (LW) - Extremely gifted, capable of causing havoc among defences with his pace and trickery.
