Watford to Face Hull City in Carling Cup

Last updated : 25 September 2006 By Gary Holmes

The Tigers, under the management of former Colchester United boss, Phil Parkinson are currently bottom of the Coca-Cola Championship having amassed just seven points from their opening 9 fixtures.

However, the Humber side did record an exciting after extra time penalty shoot-out (sounds familiar!) victory over Coca-Cola League Two outfit, Hartlepool United to reach this stage of the competition on the same evening as the Golden Boys were dispatching Accrington Stanley.

The tie is likely to take place on Tuesday 24 October 2006, subject to ratification from both clubs.
