Watford v Bolton Wanderers

Watford are set to recall Ben Foster for the visit of Bolton Wanderers after the goalkeeper was forced to sit out the midweek defeat against Manchester United as part of his loan arrangement.

Captain Gavin Mahon and stalwart defender, Malkay Mackay are both expected to be fit while Dan Shittu is also hopeful of overcoming an ankle concern, which leaves just long term injury victims, James Chambers, Clarke Carlisle and Marlon King on the sidelines.

New signings, Gareth Williams and Steve Kabba are amongst eight new players bought into the club by manager, Aidy Boothroyd during the January transfer window and could feature at some point.

Bolton Wanderers manager, Sam Allardyce has a number of selection problems as his team heads south, and will definitely be without influential strikers, Kevin Davies (ankle) and Nicolas Anelka (calf).

Abdoulaye Faye continues to be troubled by a hip injury, but more positive news sees El Hadji Diouf return after completing a two-match suspension.

New signings David Thompson (Portsmouth) and Slovakian Lubomir Michalik are both included in the squad that travels to Vicarage Road.
