Watford V Leicester at Vicarage Road Stadium - Match Preview

Same squad for Zola

Watford boss Gianfranco Zola has the same squad at his disposal for the lunchtime visit of Leicester as the one which came away from Brighton with a point on Monday.

Talented midfielder Almen Abdi has proved a big loss for the Hornets this season having not featured since the end of August due to a foot injury.

And, having recently returned to training, it was revealed this week that he has suffered a setback in his recovery, with no timeframe currently set on his comeback.

Nyron Nosworthy played an hour for the club's Under-21 side on Wednesday but he still needs further match fitness before being ready following a lengthy period on the sidelines with an Achilles injury. Fellow long-term absentee Tommie Hoban (ankle) remains absent.

Paul Konchesky is an injury concern for Leicester ahead of the trip.

A hamstring injury saw Konchesky come off at half-time during the thrilling 4-3 Capital One Cup victory over Fulham on Tuesday night and the left-back is being monitored.

"We will have to wait and see how it settles down but, at the moment, it's a question mark as to whether he'll be available for the weekend," said Foxes boss Nigel Pearson, who will still be without right-back Ritchie De Laet (shin).

Pearson will have plenty to think about in terms of team selection on Saturday after he made five changes to his starting line up against Fulham - all of whom performed well and will be hoping to keep their places.
