Young Tottenham Bound!

Tottenham Hotspur are the latest Premiership club to be linked with Watford striker, Ashley Young.

The talented England Under 21 international has already been the subject of intense transfer speculation during the January transfer window, but it is now believed Watford manager, Aidy Boothroyd may be tempted to part with his prize asset providing Spurs manager, Martin Jol agrees to a part-exchange involving Callum Davenport and Wayne Routledge.

Boothroyd remains reluctant to part with Young, and has already turned down a bid of £6.9m from Aston Villa, but may be tempted into a deal that would be subject to Tottenham Hotspur sourcing a suitable replacement for Davenport.

Should the transaction fail to materialise Liverpool, Aston Villa and West Ham United all remain in the frame to entice the Stevenage born front man away from Vicarage Road.
