Will Kevin Be Watford's Friend This Weekend?

At just 34, Kevin Friend is one of the youngest referee's on the circuit.

After being promoted to the full referee's list in 2003, the
Leicestershire based whistle blower has taken charge of many high profile matches, and will be making this second appearance at Vicarage Road this season after officating in Watford's 4-1 Vicarage Road romp over now relegated Crewe Alexandra on Saturday 28 January 2006.

On that particular afternoon, a tremendous all round team performance by the Golden Boys saw them emerge comfortable victors, thanks to a Matthew Spring brace, and a goal apiece from PFA Championship Team of the Year representatives, Ashley Young and Marlon King.

Friend also took charge of Hull City's exciting odd goal in five win at Luton Town at the beginning of February, and more recently, Preston North End's home victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Easter Monday.

At the time of writing Mr. Kevin Friend assistants at Vicarage Road on Sunday have not been confirmed.
