“I won't pretend it's not hard. I want to win every match and we go into each game aiming for exactly that”, sighed the normally positive Boothroyd.

"Not winning is difficult to take, particularly this season. I'm not a big believer in luck - at least I wasn't before this season - but it's a fact to say that we're by far the smallest club in this league.

It always looked like it was going to take a scruffy goal to turn the game and so it proved. One of these days one of those is going to fall in our favour but it wasn't to be again today.

I don't think either side played well but I guess that's not a surprise considering their position. Both of us are scrapping for points and I think we could all see that."

The Bradford born boss then turned his thoughts to another important fixture, at home to Blackburn Rovers in midweek,

"What we have to do now is just get on with it. We've got a game on Tuesday night and we'll be looking to win that match and taking things from there".
