"At 1-0 down, they were at us and we had to defend for our lives," the Watford boss said after the 1-0 win at Home Park.

"Ben Foster is has underlined why I think he's going to be the world's number one goalkeeper. I thought his performance was outstanding.

"I am delighted for him and for all the team because we had to defend like mad. We might not have played as well as we can, but it's a winning business, and we've won.

"I'm thrilled for our fans and our players because we've taken a few knocks this year. I'm absolutely delighted we are in the semi-finals.

"You can see that Ian Holloway has really got this area buzzing. This is a far different place from when I came down last time.

"They will use this to push on forward. I am sure it is only a matter of time. There is only one place this club is going, in my opinion."
