Boothroyd anticipating an open game

Watford manager, Aidy Boothroyd has high hopes that this evening's televised promotion battle with Crystal Palace will be a thrilling affair with plenty of goalmouth action at both ends of Selhurst Park.

Speaking on the official website, wafordfc.com Boothroyd said,

“I think both teams want to get automatic promotion and I think it'll be a terrific, open game with both sides trying to win it”

Ever conscious of the need to entertain the paying public and those watching the action Live on Sky Sports the Bradford born boss added,

“For the neutral and the fans watching on TV that can only be a good thing”

Boothroyd finished his interview by summing up the mood in the camp,

“All the players are raring to go. No new injuries for the exciting end to the season. This is what it all comes down to”
