The Hornets, despite taking a first half lead, fought back against a resurgent Derby side at Vicarage Road with Brynjar Gunnarsson equalising just eight minutes from time to secure a home point.

"I can't really argue with the result," the Watford boss said after the game.

"After Derby took the lead we came back and I think we had more and better chances then they did but we failed to take them.

"Overall a draw was a fair result but really we needed to score a second goal just before half-time but we missed that chance too."
