Football on a Saturday!

That used to be the case, but by a strange quirk of the fixture computer the home match against Millwall on 25th March, Kick-off 3pm, represents the last opportunity for the home faithful to witness the Golden Boys at Vicarage Road on a Saturday during the 2005/06 season, a potential play-off fixture notwithstanding.

Advance tickets for the match against Dave Tuttle’s relegation battling Lions are now available from the Ticket Office, starting from just £17 for Adults and £12 for the Over 65s, Students, Young Adults and Under 16s.

Meanwhile, the Golden Boys conclude their home campaign with an Easter Monday visit from Ipswich Town, sandwiched between two Sunday fixtures, against Luton Town and Hull City respectively.

Joe Royle’s Portman Road side arrives in town on Monday, 17th April 2006 for a traditional 3pm start, whereas the clash against our fierce rivals from Kenilworth Road takes place on Sunday, 9th April 2006 with a 12Noon Kick-off.

Peter Taylor’s Hull City provide the opposition for what all Hornet's fans hope will be a momentous final day of the season on Sunday, 30th April 2006, Kick-off 1.30pm.
