NEW MIDFIELDER JOINS ...
Malky Mackay has strengthened his Watford side by signing Middlesbrough midfielder Josh Walker on a free transfer, should Josh be sold at a later date Middlesbrough have agreed a sell-on clause.
Walker has spent the last week training with the Hornets, after impressing Malky he has signed a two-year deal with a option of a third year. The youngster came is 21 years old and came through the Boro Academy, he made 13 appearances and had loan spells with Aberdeen, Bournemouth, Northampton and Rotherham.
On the International stage Walker has captained England at every level from Under-16 to Under-20 as well as being skipper at last year’s Under-20 World Cup.
Walker is expected to be part of the 18-man squad which travels to Hull City tomorrow.
