"Some of us panicked" - Eagles

Chris Eagles has urged his team mates to keep their cool as the season reaches its exciting climax.

Speaking after the surprising home defeat to Millwall the 20-year-old confirmed that the pressure of trying to win every game in an attempt to catch Sheffield United for the last automatic promotion place had played a part,

“There was definitely a bit of tension around the ground,

“We should have kept our cool but I think some of us panicked when they scored, me included."

However, the talented Hertfordshire born winger, on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season, is keen to make amends, starting with Friday's eagerly awaited match up with Crystal Palace,

“All we can do is look forward to Friday,

“We're hoping to bounce back with a win because it is never nice losing any game.”
