"Overall, I think that there were some big plusses tonight", confirmed the Golden Boys boss.

“That game should have finished 1-1 and we didn't lock it up as we should have done.

What counts is that we stand up in these games. They smashed someone 6-2 on Saturday and it took a lot from them to turn us over. What's frustrating is that it was another goal in the last ten minutes and it was a goal that we should have eradicated.”

Never one to get depressed in the face of adversity the Bradford born manager concluded,

"We will just keep going, get that momentum and string some results together and make it exciting.

We know we need to make additions in January and I'm working very hard to do that. I've been in management for nearly two years now and I'm learning all the time.

I take on mistakes that I have made and learn from them quickly. If I could have the summer again, maybe I would have done things differently but I wanted to give these players a chance. Whatever happens, the experiences will stand us in good stead. Don't write us off just yet!”
