Despite seeing his side lose to a 95th minute penalty after dominating for much of the match the Watford manager remained extremely upbeat when interviewed afterwards, prefering to dwell on the postives of another terrific team performance rather than any failings of his side.

“In terms of performance we were unfortunate not to have left with three points.

To leave with nothing is a bit of a sickener but there were many positive from the game. If we keep playing like that we will be more than all right.

There were eleven players who I thought were outstanding today at some point or another.

I'm very disappointed to get a result like that, but I have to look at the bigger picture, which was very, very good.

This result will make us work much harder and when our shots start going in we will be a force."
