Speaking immediately after a lack-lustre three goal defeat Boothroyd felt his side had not really competed,

"It was unacceptable and I have to say that our supporters are quite within their rights to express their disappointment tonight, they pay good money to come and watch their side and they don't deserve a response such as they got from the players.

"There will be a period of reflection tonight and I've told the players to go away and look at the DVD and take a look at themselves.

"There has been a reaction in the dressing room and the players, between themselves, have spoken up and dug one another out on a few issues. People here have to be accountable.

The Bradford born boss went onto to say he thinks some of his team are in awe of the biggest Premiership stars,

"When we play one of the big four, a choke goes on for some of the players.

They come up against people they are used to seeing on the television, and some of them cannot cope with it. We didn't show heart and soul or passion."
