The home side sailed into a two goal lead through Adam Birchill on 42 minutes and Karim Rouani 8 minutes into the second half.

Watfrod reduced the deficit through Jon Harley in the 74th minute but The Bees regained their two-goal advantage through Luke Medley on 82 minutes.

Danni Shittu scored for Watford in five minutes from time but that wasn't enough and the home side held out fo a 3-2 win at Underhill.
