Barnet v Watford. Match preview

Winger Jobi McAnuff recovered from a pre-season illness to start Saturday's 1-1 draw with Doncaster and came through 75 minutes to prove his fitness.

Mackay handed debuts to Scott Severin and Danny Graham, and the latter made an instant impact with his first goal following a £200,000 summer switch from Carlisle.

Slovenian defender Jure Travner missed out at the weekend and could make his debut should Mackay opt to shuffle his pack.

Mackay himself serves the second game of a two-match touchline ban carried over from a sending off during his spell as caretaker boss last season.

Barnet manager Ian Hendon will again be without assistant manager Gary Breen.

Breen, 35, picked up a knee injury in pre-season and missed the 1-0 defeat at Lincoln on Saturday and will not be risked against Malky Mackay's Championship side.

That should see Australian Dan Leach continue alongside Ismail Yakubu at the heart of Hendon's defence.

Forward John O'Flynn is closing in on a return to fitness from his foot injury but will also not feature, leaving veteran Paul Furlong to start.

Jake Hyde and defender Joe Devera both shook off groin problems to make the matchday 18 at Sincil Bank and should be involved again, while Ahmed Deen and Clovis Kamdjo are pushing for debuts.
