Contract Offered To Striker

Manager Ray Lewington has been impressed with the player during a trial spell at Vicarage Road and is now waiting to whether or not Coleman wants to sign forms with The Hornets.

"Hopefully the deal will go through next week. He is thinking over our offer," Lewington told the Watford Observer.

"I think he has a chance. He is very strong, quick and has a nice left foot. Obviously he is raw but I am not frightened of taking on a player like that. If they show enough, then it is worth having a go.

"Both Jay DeMerit and this kid have shown really good attitudes and a real desire to try and do something."
