A goal just before half time from 18-year-old Joel Grant ensured another win for Watford's reserve side at the expense of mid table Fulham last night.

The Premiership side included Danish International, Claus Jensen in their line-up as he returns to fitness but were unable to break through in the second half against a superbly marshalled defensive line, in which young Lincoln City stopper, Scott Loach excelled.

The game's defining moment came in the 43rd minute when the Hammersmith born Grant shot past Mark Davison in the home goal.

Barclays Premiership Reserve League South table, up to and including April 6 2006.
