Three members of the board resigned at the annual general meeting of the cash-strapped club at Vicarage Road last night.
Chairman Jimmy Russo (below), his brother Vince Russo and Robin Williams all stood down from their positions on the board after negotiations with majority shareholders Lord Michael Ashcroft and Graham Simpson over potential fund-raising failed to yield results.
Former England manager Graham Taylor, Stuart Timperley, Julian Winter and David Fransen were all re-elected to the board.
