It's all about finishing the job - Boothroyd

With his side leading by three clear goals after the first leg of the Coca-Cola Championship Play-off Semi-Final the ever positive young Watford manager, Aidy Boothroyd could be forgiven for adopting a cautious approach for this evening's second leg against Crystal Palace.

However, the ever meticulous 35-year-old Bradford born boss is having none of it, and says he is planning for his charges to go and earn themselves another victory.

β€œIt would be easy to be complacent but I can assure everyone that we will definitely not be doing that.

We know what we've got to do, we're firmly focused on Tuesday night and will be looking to deal with Crystal Palace and go on to win the game.

We had a good result on Saturday but sometimes a result can mask some things that go on during a game. I thought our players were outstanding on the day and now it's all about finishing the job.”

No side has recovered from a three goal semi-final first leg deficit and gone on to reach a final in the history of the end of season play-offs.
