Jay In On Merit

Watford defender, Jay DeMerit has been selected in this week's 'Coca-Cola Team of the week' produced by the Press Association.
The 26-year-old Wisconsin born player's display against Hull City on Sunday saw a continuation of his outstanding form of late, and although not selected in the USA World Cup squad that was announced today, he remains an integral part of Aidy Boothroyd's plans.
It is interesting to note that Hull City's goalkeeper, Boaz Myhill is also named in the side, following excellent stops that thwarted Marlon King and Al Bangura at the weekend.
