"I was quite prepared to see some after-effects, after our Carling Cup win against Portsmouth but in my opinion only one player looked a little jaded whereas the rest really worked hard and were up for it.
"We know we face Liverpool in the semi-finals but we put that to rest at a team meeting on Friday and our need is to concentrate on the league."
