Lewington Praise For Webber

Webber bagged a brace as Watford overcame the promoted Londoners at Vicarage Road.

"Last year was a tough year for him for several reasons but we're hoping now that's behind him," the Hornets boss said after the 3-0 win.

"On a better day, Danny could have had four or five.

"He's looking razor-sharp at the moment. We hate to set targets because it puts pressure on him.

"But he's got the will to score goals and he's not frightened to miss. When you've got his ability the defender's got problems because Dan's got unpredictability.

"When you've got someone like that it's hard to defend against and he will always cause problems.

"It was important to get three points and I was pleased with the manner of the win.

"We worked really hard and the front two worked well.

"We need to get that tempo going. If we can maintain that over a season we'll cause people a few problems."
