"I can honestly say we haven't had one offer for him," Lewington told the Evening Standard.
"I have asked the question at board level and they have assured me we don't have to sell. We are not in a vulnerable position any more.
"While there is a cut-off point, I'm absolutely certain £1 million wouldn't get him. While we are doing what we are doing, he is going nowhere."
