8 minutes – A Shaun Derry effort for Leeds United flashes past the post thanks to a deflection from the outstretched leg of Ashley Young.

25 - Jay DeMerit throws himself at Ashley Young's corner, connects and a bullet-like header rockets past a stranded Neil Sullivan in the Leeds United goal to give Watford the lead.

44 - Rob Hulse is hauled down by Golden Boys goalkeeper, Ben Foster inside the six yard box, but Referee Mr. Dean has already blown the whistle for an earlier foul on the Watford stopper.

45 - Eddie Lewis comes close to restoring equality for the Whites with a free-kick that fizzes just over the bar.

3.50pm - Leeds United 0 Watford 1 (Half Time)

57 - Leeds United goalkeeper, Neil Sullivan makes a despairing attempt to prevent James Chambers' deflected shot going in, but the ball hits the back of his shoulder and crosses the line. The Golden Boys are on the brink of a return to the Premiership!

68 - Shaun Derry's excellent header from a Robbie Blake cross is cleared off the line by a well positioned James Chambers.

84 - Darius Henderson converts from the penalty spot after Marlon King had been fouled by Leeds United's Shaun Derry, to spark delirious Watford celebrations. Watford are on their way back to the promised land!

4.55pm - Leeds United 0 Watford 3 (Full Time)

After an absence of six years Watford's promotion back to the top flight of English Football is confirmed.
