Danny Shittu's 11th minute goal had looked to have won the game for the Hornets only for the visitors to equalise through substitute Jamie Cureton with just nine minutes of the match remaining.

"I'll go home tonight and shout into my pillow," the Hornets boss said afte the 1-1 draw at Vicarage Road on Tuesday night.

"I'm as cross as the fans are.

"We allowed Norwich to come back into it and one goal wasn't enough. We are not taking our chances and we didn't defend properly. We should be finishing those chances.

"Credit where credit is due, it was a great strike for their goal but the game should have been out of sight.

"It's the mother of all weeks for us now though with Bristol away and Stoke at home.

"There are only 10 games left and we've got two massive ones coming up. It was strange to not win and go up a place but we are nine unbeaten now.

"Six of those have been draws which is disappointing because a tweak here or there and it would be six wins and we would be away over the horizon. It would be game over."
