Watford v Sheffield United

Last updated : 03 December 2006 By Gary Holmes

Watford prepare for one of their most important fixtures of the season sweating on the fitness of winger Hameur Bouazza.

The flying Frenchmen picked up an ankle injury at Portsmouth and faces a late test, with Tamas Priskin, Anthony McNamee and Matthew Spring all standing-by.

Goalkeeper, Richard Lee is set to continue in place of on-loan Manchester United stopper Ben Foster, who had a minor operation on his troublesome knee last week, while Damien Francis and Dan Shittu, both left out at Fratton Park may return.

Sheffield United meanwhile has concerns over former Watford striker, Danny Webber who missed the Blades narrow defeat at West Ham United at the weekend with a niggling hamstring problem.

Leigh Bromby is pushing for a recall as David Sommeil is struggling with an ankle knock, but Paul Ilfil is likely to miss out after being away on international duty with Barbados.

Long term injury victims, Chris Armstrong (knee), Michael Tonge (ankle) Li Tie (leh haematoma) and Neil Shipperley (calf) are definitely all ruled out.
