"I enjoyed that a great deal," he said after the quarter final victory.
"We passed the ball well, took our chances and when we needed it our goalkeeper made some great saves.
"It's as good a victory as beating Southampton in the previous round. Portsmouth have had a few unsettled days what with losing their manager and we thought that it might work in our favour."
